Animalcouriers delivered gentle giant Cooper to Heathrow Airport and checked him in at Air Pets, where he's having a couple of days rest before flying to Ohio tomorrow. Then it was off to Leominster to reunite Ubasti with her owner Teodora. Until Teodora found out about Animalcouriers, she had been struggling to find a way to get Ubasti to the UK from Croatia. But now they are finally back together, they plan to stay that way! We crossed to Dublin in Ireland to deliver dog Casey and cat Jed to their extended family, who'll take care of them until their [...]

Meet our latest passengers: Nina, Jed, Casey, Heidi, Bob, Mucha and Uma

By |2016-10-17T10:51:04+01:00Monday, July 14, 2014|animal transportation, pet travel by road|

Fluffy black-and-white puss Nina has joined Animalcouriers in Italy. She's travelling with us to London to rejoin her owner who is studying there. To keep her looking and feeling her best, Nina is travelling with her own hair brush and a bag of her favourite nibbles! Less fluffy — but marvellously mustachioed — black-and-white cat Jed has also joined our trip, travelling with his Australian Sheepdog chum Casey. Their final destination is Dublin in Ireland, where the family is relocating to be close to their Irish family. Both cat and dog are very relaxed and friendly — the perfect passengers! [...]

Casey the Westie is off to Philadelphia

By |2016-10-17T11:00:30+01:00Friday, April 13, 2012|animal transportation, latest news, pet air travel|

Animalcouriers first met Casey two years ago, when he flew in from Denver to join his owners in the UK. We collected him from the airport and delivered him to his family in Oxfordshire. Casey is a very cute and stylish Westie — in fact, he's the one wearing sunglasses who features on our website home page and facebook! Now it's time for Casey to return to the US. When he lands in Philadelphia, he'll be met by his owners' daughter, who'll look after him until her parents get home later in the month.

Casey from Denver

Animalcouriers collected Casey, a very stylish Westie, who flew from Denver in the USA to join his family in the UK. Casey had to wait for his blood test to reach its six-month anniversary before he could enter the UK, during which time a family friend took care of him. Once he got through UK customs and DEFRA checks, we took him to join his family in Oxfordshire.

UK reunions for Napoleao, Cuca, Kathy, Neska, Charlie, Galatzo and Melody; and news of Danae

Couriers J and M had quite a time of it when they reached the northern French port of Calais. Fencing was being erected and there was a strong police presence to hold back a flow of migrants, reminding us about all the unhappy places in the world people are fleeing from. Then, on checking in, we discovered there was a strike at the port, so it was a three-hour wait before we could set sail. Eventually we made it back to our Surrey base, where a delighted Teresa was waiting to collect her cats Napoleao and Cuca who had travelled [...]

Last night on the Italian Riviera

By |2016-10-17T10:51:04+01:00Tuesday, July 15, 2014|animal transportation, pet travel by road|

Couriers S and L spent last night on the Italian Riviera where all their passengers enjoyed a tranquil evening, and the dogs had cool walks on the breezy beach. Today they will cross the border into France. Editor's note: we have moved the cheese-tasting story that originally formed part of this post to its own post, as we received some irresistible late additions! Casey enjoys the cool sea breeze Nociolino is keen to know everything that's going on Rosalina knows how to strike a regal pose Jed enjoying a lie-in Ubasti [...]
