When I first thought about bringing an English Mastiff puppy over from the UK to South Africa I was rather anxious about the logistics, the transit time and the stress of travel over such a distance. I seemed to spend as much time researching animal transporters as I did the breeders.

I found a lovely little mastiff from a wonderful breeder in Wales and, after communicating with many different animal transport companies, I found Animalcouriers. In all my dealings with them I found them professional, knowledgeable, prompt in all correspondence, and price competitive.

Animalcouriers booked the puppy onto the flight I specifically requested. They worked with the breeder to ensure that all documentation was in place and that the measurements for the travel crate were correct. They organised the travel crate and collected the puppy from the breeder in plenty of time to get him to the airport.

The puppy arrived remarkably vibrant and optimistic about starting his African adventure.

This is a note to say thank you so much for taking good care of Ruby and Coco.

They have soon settled back into Family Life. They don't seem at all stressed out with the journey which is obviously down to you taking good care of them and giving them lots of love when you were not driving.

Both Ruby and Coco are eating well, (back to Winalot), and at present after their morning walk, eating their chewies.

In their new home in Devon, we have found a brilliant walking place around fields and woods, which takes a good hours walk, which the love (picking up sticks and putting their heads in the grass sniffing).

Thank you for the twitter updates, they really helped to keep track on where they were on this long journey.

Celia and I would like to thank you for transporting our family of 15 dogs and three (scabby) cats from North Cyprus to Chesterfield in the UK by road. The way in which the journey was carried out and your care and attention to our family on route was superb and your obvious love of animals shone through.

As you can imagine we were very apprehensive about the journey and our stress and worry levels were at an all time high. However your two or three Emails each day along with pictures of our family plus a commentary of the journey made it seem as if we were there with you, well we were with you in thought. We constantly checked the map to see where you were and which route you were taking and of course the nearer you got to the Channel the lower our stress levels dropped.

Our family are now in kennels near Chesterfield after their epic journey so once again we thank you for your care, devotion and most of all for taking exemplary care of our family, it was a pleasure to meet you both.

We hope we can meet again in the future.

We both want to say how glad we are we found Animal Couriers and decided to use you to transport Bella from Newcastle to southern France. As Bella has had such a traumatic time recently, it was important to know she was in safe hands and with people who not only transport animals but, very importantly, understand and care about them.
Bella has settled in well with her brothers and into her new home and, despite her disability, is enjoying showing off how quickly she can run!
